About the Mall of America

The Mall of America, located in Bloomington, Minnesota, opened on August 11, 1992.[9] The Mall of America is home to over 520 retail stores, 50 restaurants, several entertainment attractions, and over 400 free events annually. Popular attractions featured at the Mall of America include Nickelodeon Universe, Sea Life Aquarium (formerly Underwater Adventures), a movie theater, Lego play area, and more.[2]

The Mall of America is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Located just outside of Minneapolis/St. Paul, the mall offers visitors 20,000 free, on-site parking spaces.[2] In addition, the mall offers several services, including wheelchair and stroller rentals, locker rentals, and a lost and found.[10]
