Erie County Fair coupons and discounts help trim the overall costs for admission and rides. Discounts include presale tickets, early morning tickets, and student discounts.

The Erie County Fair is held each August in Hamburg, New York, and offers a variety of activities for the entire family to enjoy. The fair has been open each year since 1841 (except in 1943), and offers 275 acres of fun that includes 70 rides, 100 games, food, shows, and concerts. The fair is also home to 86 permanent structures and building, and provides 15,000 parking spaces for visitors.[1]

About Erie County Fair

The 2013 Erie County Fair takes place August 7-18. Gate admission prices are $10 for adults and $7 for seniors age 60 and over. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Admission each year includes entrance to the fair only. Rides and some of the attractions cost an additional fee.[1] Parking prices are $5 per vehicle.[4]

The Erie County Fair offers visitors a variety of services throughout the fair's duration. This includes on-site ATMs, a first aid station, a lost children area, stroller, wheelchair, and electric cart rentals.[4] In 2012, the Erie County Fair welcome 1,031,750 visitors.[5]

  • The fair's official website offers printable PDF coupons for BOGO, dollars off, and cents off food at the fair.[3]
  • The Erie County Fair offers customers a free app for iPhones and Android devices. Features include daily information and highlights, a search function for foods, shows, and exhibits, a listing a fair exhibitors, and GPS.[6]
  • Consumers who purchase tickets for grandstand events and concerts will receive free gate admission to the fair.[4]
  • The Erie County Fair has both a Twitter feed and Facebook page, and promotes fair information and discounts. For example, information is typically posted about FireFighter's Day, a designated day where firefighters and auxillery members receive free admission to the fair.[7]
  • Group discounts are available. Information about pricing and sizes is available by contacting group sales at 716-649-3000, ext. 407.[4]
  • Prior to the fair's start, the official Erie County Fair website features a "Discounts & Deals" section. This is where information is posted on special deals and promotions. Past offers have included:
    • Guests who purchased their tickets online received a discount of $3 on adult tickets and $2 on senior tickets. There were no service charges for online purchases through the official website.
    • Student discounts were offered for guests 13-22. The cost was $5 when entering after 5 p.m. daily. A valid student ID was required to receive the discount.[3]
    • Guests who visited before 11 a.m. on weekdays paid only $5 for admission. This offer was sponsored by Wendy's.[3]
    • Guests have received a free fair voucher when they purchased two 12-packs of Pepsi from participating Sunoco A Plus locations.[3]
    • Opening Day specials have included $2 admission and $2 parking.[3]
    • Weekday ride specials have been offered, with visitors paying $20 for unlimited rides when they presented a receipt from participating Tops Friendly Markets. Without the receipt, unlimited rides were $25.
    • On a select Thursday, fair prices have been $4 for gate admission and $4 for parking.[3]
