COSI Columbus, located in Columbus, Ohio, opened on March 29, 1964. Opening Day at the COSI saw over 5,000 visitors, each adult visitor paying 50 cents, and each child paying 25 cents.[1]

COSI Columbus coupons are one way visitors to the museum can save on ticket prices. Coupons may sometimes be offered inside local tourist brochures, or through the member newsletter when visitors purchase an annual membership. Dollars off discounts are also available for teachers, military personnel, and groups of 12 or more people.

About COSI Columbus

COSI Columbus is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the exception of select Mondays and Tuesdays in December, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. The museum is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Easter.[5]

Admission prices at COSI Columbus are $14.75 for adults ages 13-59, $13.75 for seniors age 60 and over, $9.75 for youth ages 2-12, and free for children under age two.[4]

COSI Columbus Coupons and Free Offers

  • Active, retired, and reserve military receive $2 off admission for themselves and their immediate family members.[5]
  • Certified teachers pay just $8 admission, saving over 40 percent off the admission price. In addition, certified teachers also receive a discount on museum memberships.[5]
  • Groups of 12 or more people save on admission when making reservations in advance. To make reservations, consumers can call 614-228-2674.[5]
  • The last Friday night of each month is Family Night. The museum is open until 9 p.m., and admission after 5 p.m. is just $8, and includes an Extreme Screen theater movie.[6]
  • Visitors can sign up for COSI's free e-News, and start receiving museum news and discounts sent directly by e-mail. Sign-up is available on the official COSI Columbus website.[7]
  • COESRA cardholders receive $2 off museum admission.[5]
  • Visitors can purchase an annual membership to the COSI, and receive free admission for a year. Additional benefits include discount coupons for movies, special exhibits, workshops, camps, food, and more, as well as free or discounted admissions to over 300 reciprocal science centers. Members also receive parking discounts, and savings at the museum store and cafe.[8]
  • Consumers can "Like" COSI on Facebook, or follow COSI on Twitter, and access the latest museum news. Consumers can also find out about special promotional offers, some of which may be exclusive to fans and followers.[9][10]
  • Coupons for COSI may occasionally be available inside Columbus area tourist guides and brochures.
  • Consumers can save $1 by purchasing combo tickets for the museum and one giant screen film.[5]
