About the Bay Area Renaissance Festival
The 2014 Bay Area Renaissance Festival takes place at the MOSI weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on February 22 through April 5, and Friday, April 4. Admission prices at the gate are $19.95 for adults, $11.95 for children 5-12, and $14.95 for seniors 62 and over. Parking at the festival is available free on site.
Each year the festival offers numerous "Theme Weekends." The 2013 weekends are as follows: February 22 and 23 is Wine, Chocolate and Romance, March 1 and 2 is Highland Fling, March 8 and 9 is Buccaneer Beer Fest, March 15 and 16 is Shamrocks and Shenanigans, March 23 and 24 is Wonders of the World, March 29 and 30 is High Seas Adventure, April 4 is Festival Friday, and April 5 and April 6 is Huzzah to the King
